Red Herring, Technology Association of Georgia, Info Security Products and Pacesetters Recognize Company for Continued Innovation
ATLANTA, June 6, 2013 – Paymetric, Inc., the leading provider of integrated and secure enterprise payment acceptance solutions, today announced that throughout the first half of 2013 the company was recognized by four local, trade and national award programs. Red Herring, Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), Info Security Products and Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetters have honored the company’s commitment to innovation, growth and security with prestigious awards.
Most recently, Paymetric was selected as a Red Herring Top 100 North America company, which honors the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the North American business region. Red Herring has been selecting the most exciting and promising start-ups and “scale ups” since 1995, often including the best performing and prominent companies of the year. The Top 100 winners were announced at a special awards ceremony the evening of May 23.
“In 2013, selecting the Top 100 achievers was by no means a small feat” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs have crossed significant milestones so early. But after much thought, rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across North America to the Top 100 Winners. We believe Paymetric embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. Paymetric should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was very strong.”
In March, TAG, Georgia’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of the state’s technology industry, has named Paymetric as one of its 2013 Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia. TAG’S Top 40 Awards recognize Georgia-based technology companies for their innovation, financial impact, and their efforts at spreading awareness of Georgia’s technology initiatives throughout the U.S. and globally.
Info Security Products, the industry’s leading information security research and advisory guide, also recognized Paymetric in three of their 2013 award categories: Gold Winner in the PCI Compliance category and a Bronze Winner in the Security Products and Solutions for Enterprise (Large) category, both for Paymetric’s Data Intercept Solutions for XiSecure™ On-Demand, and as a Gold Winner in the Executive of the Year category for CEO Asif Ramji.
In April, Paymetric was named a winner in the 2013 Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Pacesetter Awards. The annual awards program recognizes Atlanta’s top 100 fastest growing private companies in the region.
“This type of award recognition is the greatest endorsement to the fact that Paymetric is ahead of the curve when it comes to creating exceptional products and solutions for our customers. We are proud to represent the very best the information security industry and Georgia’s technology community has to offer,” said Asif Ramji, president and CEO, Paymetric.
