XiPayNet FAQs
How do I use XiPayNet?
Your payment card transactions will originate from your transactions system, such as your ERP system. For most standard transactions, the system will be transparent to your users. However, you will be able to access the service over the internet to perform certain operational functions, view reports, review analytics on your transaction flow, and access technical support.
How do you install XiPayNet?
XiPayNet is a service that is managed, deployed and supported by Paymetric. There is no local installation. Our engineers simply configure your originating transaction system to point to the XIPayNet service. There is no software to install, no hardware to purchase, and no system to manage!
How does this differ from XiPay?
XiPayNet is an "on-demand" service and is delivered via the internet. XiPay is an "on-premise" software solution that is installed and deployed within your environment. For many users that have simple processing needs or low-volume requirements, an on-demand service is a more affordable alternative and is perfectly adequate for your needs. However, for high volume requirements, sophisticated card processing workflows and/or payment types, we would recommend looking at XiPay - our flagship software product.
What about PCI?
XiPayNet operates within the Paymetric Data Center, a PCI-Certified data center powered by Sungard Availability Services (http://www.availability.sungard.com/). While Paymetric cannot assess your own environment for its ability to meet PCI requirements, you can rest assured that the data stored at our center is protected with the utmost in payment card security systems and best practices. In addition, XiPayNet is powered by XiPayTM our very own flagship product which has also achieved a PABP designation by Visa.
What does it cost?
XiPayNet pricing is based on volume usage. There are no licensing fees. You pay a simple monthly fee that enables you to a certain number of transactions on a monthly basis. Rather than a large up-front investment, XiPayNet fees will grow as the value to your business grows. Less risk, quicker return on your investment.
