ENCORE PRESENTATION by popular demand! You request, we listen. Back by popular demand, Mr. Ken Silver, Vice President of ePayments, will give an encore presentation of "Defining Business Requirements for Electronic Payment Acceptance" this coming November, 2010!
Working together with colleagues in your own departments or local offices can be challenging enough. As the enterprise continues to expand coast to coast, and continent to continent it becomes increasingly difficult to join forces on projects. In today’s workplace, collaboration is king.
Although your colleagues may have different priorities and deadlines than you, it is important to collectively plan projects up-front in order to avoid inefficiencies and unnecessary time and money spent. This is especially true for assignments involving the implementation of electronic payment processing capabilities.
Without proper planning, your business is destined to encounter project-crippling challenges. There are many complexities involved in accepting electronic payments. Some of these challenges include:
- Identifying currencies that need to be authorized and settled
- Identifying the systems from which these transactions will take place
- Understanding your current treasury relationships, and identifying whether or not other entities in your company have existing relationships with payment processing organizations (acquirers)
- Identifying whether or not a particular acquirer can support your payment processing needs
- Deciding if you will accept alternative payment methods
- Understanding and properly qualifying for optimal interchange
- Adhering to a litany of security requirements
Attend this free webinar and you will learn:
- About how electronic payment transactions are processed and which entities are involved in authorizing electronic payments
- About key considerations that need to be accounted for when implementing a payment processing solution
- Which individuals must be involved in defining payment processing requirements
- About payment processing costs and how defining business requirements up front can help you lower them
